Many communities around the world are facing challenging and uncertain times and as a result of these challenges I have decided that BNID should try and do more to bring the Boston community together. We would like to announce some exciting upcoming events that BNID will be hosting and co-sponsoring over the next few weeks. It is our goal going forward to host or co-sponsor more events to increase BNID membership engagement with the local international development community. Please consider attending one (or all) of these upcoming events.
I will be speaking at the International Day of Peace Panel taking place on Tuesday, September 20th hosted by Hostelling International and co-sponsored by BNID, U.S. Fund for UNICEF, Boston GLOW, PeaceCorps, and Partners in Health. To learn more visit here.
Join BNID, WorldBoston, the West African Research Association, and the United Nations Association of Greater Boston (UNA-GB) to hear from Dr. Hassana Alidou who is the Republic of Niger’s Ambassador to the United States and Canada. This event will focus on Promoting Leadership through Girls' Education and will be taking place on Wednesday, September 28th.
BNID is excited to be holding our annual back to school networking night on Wednesday, October 12th. This event is geared toward current students and professionals (both young and mid-career) who are interested in networking with their peers from across the Boston area. To learn more, please visit here.
Also, please consider attending some of the 30+ other amazing events that are currently listed on our events board. Finally, feel free to reach out to me at any time at [email protected].
